Proposal of the Neobyzantine Movement

The theories and beliefs that have created Neobyzantine idea have their focus in the former lands of Byzantium. We believe in the creation of an Orthodox Commonwealth or Federation made up of several ethnically different, but religiously and culturally connected states.

Rich and poor alike will be equal in the sense that they are equally important for the well being of the state. The Commonwealth and its different nation-states will become like living cells. The citizens will be doing their part for the good and well being of the state and the Nation. And it's with this living and breathing state that our people will work for that will intern protect and serve as our safe haven. Putting the well being of Nation will be above all else. Making sure each member of the state is taken care of, but still leaving room for healthy competition amongst our brothers and sisters so there is still the balance of rich and poor inside our living cell. Since the Bible itself claims we will forever have the poor amongst us.

Each Division inside Enotita creates its own Program and Views for their Nation. As long as they fit inside the General plan of our group these Division Views are accepted. We wish to redraw the Borders of the Balkans to create historical and ethnically correct borders. Each Nation-State would be 98% ethnically pure, leaving that 2% for other nationalities of the Commonwealth that need to be inside another state for business, religious, or political reasons. But the essential point is that no separation or moving of any person will be needed. The new borders will not be attended to affect anyone. In the future plans those borders will fade away in the eyes of common citizen due they will no longer be lines of separation in the United Commonwealth.

Balkans Region should be Strongly Orthodox, with Orthodoxy recognized as the State Religion, but all other religions will be allowed (religious freedom). Since religious and ethnical minorities would be showing loyalty to the State they will be granted absolute freedom. The special Council of Religious Affairs will control heretical movements and the problem of sects.

Caucasus Region should be organized among Orthodox and Eastern Christian people, with the strong Armenian, Georgian, and Russian influence. Major problems like terrorism should be eliminated by joint armed efforts and integration of this region with other member regions of NB Commonwealth. The main reason why terrorist movements have success lies in the economical structure of these unstable regions, so our notion is that by strategically planed economical stimulation this instability is about to vanish. This notion is in general, regarding each unstable region of the future State.

Middle Eastern Provinces would require the creation of a Byzantine type Islam, and special approach to non-Christian Politics. Since our struggle is not against Islam nor any other religion or group, we should try to create good climate in the areas where Islam element is strong and try to understand these groups as much as possible. ENOTITA and other groups should develop special study on how to treat those cultures of non-Orthodox Faith and several anti-Christian periods during history. Council of Strategic Monitoring should develop special approach.
